This Sister Lock Blog will chronicle the experiences I face transitioning from 9-10 inches of relaxed hair into SisterLock solitude. Contemplating Sisterlocks for a mere 4 months before deciding to ultimately take the Sisterlock plunge, I hope this blog will inspire "Relaxed" sisters who desire SLs, but fear the unknown. This blog documents my forthecoming sisterlock venture, set to commence Oct. 13, 2006.

I Bet You Can't Tell I Have SLs

Well, today was a perfect day to blog her in Texas. Why? Well I had early release from school as well as work due to weather conditions her in the DFW area. I know Creyole, Montgomery Girl, and the rest of the DFW SL sisters can attest..

Oh, speaking of MontgomeryGirl, http://public.fotki.com/mongtomerygirl/.
I had a chance to meet her when I went for my first retightening. (I have to post pics).
I was there for my 6 week retightening and she was also. She was SLd on Oct. 16 and I was SLd on Oct.9 so we are very close in our journey. She is very cool and down to earth.

And no, I am not cross-eyed, I just look like that sometimes. I am a big make-up advocate and junkie, so I was trying the new pale-to white eyeliner. I am not a big fan because in my opinion, it makes the eyes look bitty, but I am no make-up artist to the stars.....

Can You
Tell Now???
This little baby (SL) always sticks out and lets me
know I have SLs.
Boywould a little gel come in handy now???????

Thanks ladies for your nice comments, all you ladies provide so much inspiration.

Knotsnlocks, it only took about 8 hrs because I had about 1.5-2 inches of natural and 7-8 inches of relaxed so she did not have to loc that part.
