Hey Women,
I am so excited. I initially thought about going to GiGi for my Sisterlocks, but after rational consideration, I had a change in plans. I spoke with GiGi over the phone and she seemed really nice so I set an appointment. Well she quoted me at a starting price of $600.00. I then spoke to my aunt (who has 7 yrs of cultivated locks) and she referred me to Elaine in Dallas. I had never heard of her either, so asked my fellow Lock It Up group members. I heard only great things about her so I gave her a call. We scheduled an appointment and she put test locks in my hair. I thought she was very nice and professional so I elected to go to her instead. I would have gone to GiGi, but Elaine quoted me at $500.00 and I live only 20 minutes away from her.
I am getting SLd Monday 10.09.06 and I can't wait.
You ladies have been such an inspiration and have provided the utmost Empowerment, Encouragement, and Entertainment on your blogs. I don't know if I would have ever gone all the way with SLs had there not been as much information on your blogs about the whole SL journey.
